You've done the coping. This is the part where things actually change.
Warm, evidence-based telehealth therapy for adults across California.
ContactI help adults shift out of survival mode and step into real, sustainable healing.
When your nervous system is stuck in survival mode, even small things feel overwhelming. You might be navigating an ongoing stressor or trying to catch your breath after a chaotic period. You may be trapped in overthinking, intrusive thoughts, or a constant feeling that something is about to go wrong.
As a therapist, I intentionally use treatments I find to be the most effective, efficient, and powerful to get you where you need to go. If you've ever sat in traditional talk therapy feeling like you were just venting week after week without anything actually changing, I get it. Venting feels good in the moment, but it doesn't rewire a dysregulated nervous system or break an anxiety loop.
My work gets right to the root, teaching your nervous system it can let go and relax again.
People who feel things intensely and often absorb what's happening around them. You're likely the one who notices the shift in someone's tone, who replays conversations, who has spent years being the steady one for everyone else. That sensitivity isn't the problem, and I'm not going to try to talk you out of it.
Most of the people I see come in with social or generalized anxiety, OCD, or trauma. Often alongside that: relationship patterns that keep repeating, people-pleasing, perfectionism, grief, or a life adjustment that knocked the floor out from under them.
Many have already been to therapy. They understand themselves well. What they haven't had is anything that actually shifted how they feel.
I'm certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trained in Levels 1 & 2 of Brainspotting, and trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) as well as other phobias and anxieties. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University.
If this sounds like the kind of space you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
